SUSANNA
About the Artist :
Susana began her musical journey at the age of 17 at Escola Profissional de Música de Viana do Castelo, studying viola under Professor Rafael Cutiño.
In 2007, she won 1st place in the EPMVC’s Scale Competition and completed the Basic Course of Performance (EQF level 3) with the highest score. In 2011, she enrolled in the Academia Nacional Superior de Orquestra under Professor Paul Wakabayashi, winning the Luso-American Foundation scholarship.
From 2019 to 2021, Susana worked in Luxembourg as a performer (violinist and violist), teacher trainer, and teacher. Currently, she is a violist with Fondation EME, collaborating with musician Pedro Bray and musicians from the Orchestre Philharmonique du Luxembourg, as well as other professional
Luxembourgish musicians, bringing music to hospitals, schools, sanatoriums, nursing homes, associations, and institutions for children with rare diseases and cancer, among others.
In 2020, on Europe Day, Susana had the honor of representing Luxembourg in an online solo concert at the invitation of the European Commission.
Throughout her career, she has collaborated with numerous companies and organizations, including Hermès, NATO and Commission Européenne.
She has performed at well-known stages in Portugal, Spain, France, Luxembourg, Cape Verde, and Belgium.
