Jesse is an accomplished NYC-based musician and composer with a versatile background in film, theater, production and performance.

Jesse received his MA in Jazz Studies Trumpet Performance from N.Y.U. In 1999, he composed, recorded and produced his first score for the Academy Award short-listed film Fin. He was the founder, director and producer of the Williamsburg Jazz festival from 2003 to 2007. In 2013 he directed music, performed and composed settings for Tennessee Williams’s lyrics in Cosmin Chivu’s The Mutilated.

Selengut is a writer, performer, producer and bandleader of the American roots band Tin Pan, having put out eight full-length releases and sold over 40,000 CDs since 2006.

Jesse also performs in various styles, ambient, techno, edm, bebop, pop, latin etc… If it’s good music, Jesse is on stage.
